Book Signing Recap!

As you may know, yesterday I had a book signing at The Branding Iron in Peekskill, New York. I would say that the signing went very well! There was a pretty good turn out and I definitely sold a decent number of books and t-shirts! I also got some orders for the tote bags that my mom and I were carrying! Today, I thought that I would share some photos from this event! (By the way, there is going to be another event at The Branding Iron this year. ;)

My two poetry collections, Thousands of Mornings and Holiday Hospital Stay Poetry Collection 2012, standing up for display. (On a cookbook stand that I got my mom for Christmas).

From left to right: my stepmom (Darlene), my dad (James), my mom (Christina) and, in the purple dress, me (Amanda Leigh). :)

This a picture of one of my professors from college,at Pace University, and I.

Here I am signing books. :)

This is a picture of Tana, the owner of The Branding Iron, and I. She is the one who had the idea for this event and put it together. :) Behind us is a pretty good shot of that t-shirt that I was talking about. :)

The book signing was definitely a lot of fun! (Lunch was very good, also). I signed a pretty fair amount of books. I had to stop myself from signing too quickly. (My handwriting is rather messy). Thank you to everyone who came out! To anyone who couldn't, don't worry! I'll have more signings in the future! And like i said, there will be another event at The Branding Iron this year! For those of you too far... hopefully one day I'll be on a tour or something and come to you! ;) Thank you again to The Branding Iron, Tana, anybody who came out to the signing and anyone who helped me to set up and buy supplies! Have a great day everyone! :D

  1. So proud of you! A book signing, so exciting! Sorry, I couldn't come. You know how transportation in Westchester can be without a car. But I'm so happy to hear that it went well! =)
