Review:

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. I've been much more selective in taking on review books but when I got the e-mail from Michelle I just knew that I had to review this one. This was a very fast paced that definitely kept me flipping the pages. It was hard to stop because I really wanted to know what happened. The characters were pretty good, too and easy enough to relate to. It's funny how I started off liking Jake but then ended up liking Zac. I like Zac more than Jake and that's really all I can say without giving away a spoiler. I always found the Many Worlds Theory fascinating so I was really excited when it popped up in this book. I like that Michelle worked that in although I do wish we'd gotten some more answers. It didn't ruin the book for me but I wish that they were there. It was also sometimes a little too fast paced and I wished that there more detail or showing, or more feeling from the character. And the school shooter was to one dimensional for me. I know I was seeing them through Anna's eyes but there wasn't enough to them for me. We didn't see enough of them. And there was only contempt for them which I understand 100% but I wish there was some more dimension to that whole situation and character. Then again, I always want to get into the minds of people when something like that happens. Pick it apart. I've always really been one for understanding the "villain". Overall, it was an enjoyable read. I think I'd give it 3.25 quills.
